Hemangioma of the lower lip and tongue
A 17 year old boy with his father came to our OPD at Richardsons Dental and Craniofacial Hospital with a complaint of swollen lower lip and tongue since childhood. The size of the swelling had gradually increased as he grew into a young man. On examination, the lesion on the tongue and the lips was found to be a soft compressible lesion with a reddish hue. Multiple reddish nodules were also found on the dorsum of the tongue in conglomerates. It was diagnosed provisionally as a hemangioma.
