Helan Rani had undergone all secondary cleft procedures to make herself normal.It was now time to give her nose the perfection it required. A CBCT scan was done for her and all blood investigations. An open rhinoplasty procedure was done in which rib cartilage had to be harvested to provide support to her nasal structures.
The symmetry of her nostrils of the cleft and non-cleft side were established, tip projection was corrected, columellar length was given and alar shape was achieved. It took about two hours and she was discharged in two days.
